Hmmm...maybe not until it's actually the case, I guess.
I'm actually kind of amazed by that sign, it's a more accurate reflection of reality (I would imagine, not having lived in a border town) than governments/corporations and so forth generally like to publish for public consumption, kind of the opposite of Fight Club's "hindu cows" riff for the leaflets on airplanes. I'm sure they put them up because people get hit by cars doing exactly what the sign depicts, and probably looking a lot like the sign depicts as well, in some cases.
